The World Around You

It looks like we may finally get a look at Governor Riley’s $1.2 billion tax and accountability plan. From everything I have heard about what he will propose I support it 100%. There are several proposals that will negatively impact my family’s cash flow, but I also am excited about the opportunities that will come out of this ambitious proposal.

The naysayers will continue to be out there, there are those that like living in a state that is constantly in crisis as long as it means they don’t have to pay one red cent more out of their pocket. Alabama needs a change, and I think we can take a step in the right direction with the Governor’s proposal. It will now be in the hands of the men on Goat Hill and the shaping of this package will be a political dance like we have never seen in this state.
