Governor Riley has posted on his website a spreadsheet that shows the net impact of the federal tax cut combined with the changes in state taxes. I encourage everyone to check this out. Almost everyone is still going to see a net reduction in their taxes, it is just a matter of how much.

This could be a very effective sales point for the Governor’s program. I just hope they are not fudging the numbers, because they will get caught. If they’re being straight up with people then this should certainly help the cause.
