The movement is not going in a positive direction on Amendment 1. The Birmingham News reported the latest poll numbers this morning,

The survey of 600 likely voters showed 58 percent would vote no and 30 percent would vote yes. Twelve percent were undecided. The poll has a margin of error of plus or minus 4 percentage points.

The plan was losing among all major demographic groups - black and white, young and old, rich and poor, Democrat and Republican, male and female.
