Educators May Stop Start Date

I just thought this was a good Friday headline. But seriously, this is liable to be one of the biggest issues in the upcoming legislative session, though it’s not really all that important in the grand scheme. The local boards are going to talk about “local control” and the state legislature is going to talk about the state’s economy. Both sides will be shoveling it in this debate, making the issue much bigger than it really is.

If you want to see some exciting football, be at Stanley Jensen Stadium in Prattville tonight.

Several thousand fans and students have done the same, and the excitement has been building all week.

It will be the second meeting between the two teams this season. Prattville (12-0) won the first game 14-13 at Cramton Bowl in Montgomery. Tonight, the teams will be battling for a berth in the Super Six state championship at Birmingham’s Legion Field.

Fans at both schools expect a packed house and another close game.
