I haven’t written on the bond issue that is the talk of Prattville. I am fully in support of the $48 million bond the city wants in order to make a number of improvements needed to recruit retail and other interests to the city. Our city leaders are right, this is the way the game is played folks. It always makes people nervous when you start throwing around big numbers, but it is an investment in the future of the city. The public hearing is scheduled for 4pm tomorrow, so if you’re interested in the issue, I encourage you to show up and make your voice heard, but do your research and talk to folks who know what they’re talking about.
