GOP Approves of Bishop’s Punch

This is pretty appalling. Dan’s right, whatever other good things happened at this dinner, what is memorable is that so many approved of fisticuffs on the Senate floor. I wonder if they would have had the same reaction had it been one of their own who was decked?

Appears Boycott of Bridge Having Intended Effect

It appears the boycott of the Emerald Mountain toll bridge is having the intended effect. Whether it will cause any change of the tools remains to be seen, but I applaud the residents for standing up for something they believed was wrong. At the same time, I hope it’s worth the extra 50 cents to do all that extra driving.
