A school in Dekalb County Alabama expects to have a hispanic majority when school begins in the fall. The conservatives will have a field day with this one…I hope the school is still standing when the school year starts.

For me, it’s not really a news story, but a good chance for people to start discussing the real issues that underly the so-called immigration debate. The immigration debate is not really about immigration, it’s about hispanics and people’s fear and ignorance of our latino population. Let’s talk about the real issue and stop making it about “immigration”.
