The Betty Wilson case is the murder case that will not die in Alabama. Just because her twin sister was acquitted and she was found guilty there has always been media attention on this particular situation. I don’t think she deserves a new trial, but she might get it.

Betty Wilsons case will never die down not only in Alabama but all over the U.S. until policemans, procecutors and a Judge do the right thing. And the right thing is her conviction was based on her lifestyle along and a witness that not only burglarized her home, killed her husband and probably burglarized homes of some of the jurors that convicted her. The State of Tennessee don’t even recognize convicted felons on the witness stand. What prosecutor in their right mind would have even placed him on the stand without knowing that he was going to answer all the questions asked correctly. The defense team should have checked the writing in his hands for written answers placed their by investigators and procecutors. Theirs no way an alcoholic or addict could possibly remember everything he told down to the color of her shoes. If you noticed Mr. White continued to look down several times when giving his testimony. You’d be suprised if I told you that you can write with soap on your arms or hands and it will appear that nothings there until you rub cig.ashes or dust over it and the information you placed there with soap will appear. I laugh at the trial. Convicted felons can’t even vote or be on a jury trial and why do you think that is????? There’s a very dark cloud over Huntsville, Ala. and will continue until Dr.Wilson can rest in peace.

I attended this trial the day James White testified and I was astonished that a jury could believe anything he said. I know Betty and Peggy and knew Jack and I have no doubt that she was judged for her attitude and lifestyle with prejudicial southern bias. I moved from the south to the west many yrs ago and still see these qualities when i return, but i would have thought someone in power would have come to their senses by now.
Why has Mr White’s confession, that Betty was not implicated,
been revisited? This is beyond comprehension.
