It appears Governor Riley is working to get agreement among Republicans and Democrats in the Alabama Senate prior to calling a special session, and if he doesn’t get it, there won’t be one. I think this is a smart consideration, but may mean any chance of a special session is lost. I don’t think either side is ready to let go of what happened last session.
