Davis Not a Challenger to Folsom?

Steve Flowers indicates in his latest column that Jim Folsom has a clear path in the 2010 Alabama Governor’s race because Ron Sparks and Seth Hammett will likely not be running. Is Steve forgetting about a certain Alabama congressman named Artur Davis, who it seems clear is going to run?
