The tease from Rep. Artur Davis continues. It is certainly too early to be making commitments about a governor’s race in 2010, but why does he have to taunt us so? I hope he will make the leap and will be wholeheartedly in his corner.

I am deeply sorry to hear of Ken’s death. He was doing good work and I’m sure he was a very good man. My deepest sympathies to Ken’s partner, Kathy and her family.

I hope the new mayor of Birmingham doesn’t think that just by giving kids laptops they are going to be smarter. I hope they are able to use the technology to their advantage, but if you don’t have teachers trained in technology, they won’t be.
