U.S. court asked to remove Jeffco commissioner appointed by Gov. Riley, let election proceed

I think it is good that a court may finally decide whether or not the Governor has the authority to appoint replacement county commissioners, because it does seem to fly in the face of the Voting Rights Act provisions that have been in place for decades.
