Bobby Bright: Too Shrewd By Half?
It appears that Bobby Bright definitely is going to run in the Alabama 2nd Congressional District race, but that he is playing both sides of the fence as to which party he will represent. I agree with the analysis offered in Danny’s post, and I believe the more likely scenario is that Bobby will run as a Republican, so as to mitigate the risk of having to face a Republican opponent every election cycle. However, he will likely govern as a very moderate Republican, given his personal politics.
