9:35 – Palin takes the stage without the video montage because Giuliani took too long.
9:39 – Cue the “USA, USA” chants.
9:45 – I can’t believe she actually used the “being a mayor is kind of like being a community organizer, only you have real responsibilities” line…unbelievable…
9:50 – I notice the part about fighting “entrenched interests” didn’t get as much applause as some other parts of the speech. I’ll bet there are a whole lot of those in that arena with her tonight who don’t want to hear that.
9:54 – I also can’t believe she is talking about the “bridge to nowhere”…keep talking, that one’s going to come back to bite you madam governor.
9:57 – And here comes the fear…the McCain-Palin slogan is going to be…”Because You’re too Afraid to Have Hope”
9:59 – More bullshit…Obama hasn’t authored a single major peace of legislation? Is she insane?

First Fred Thompson rails against politicians who feel at home on the Washington cocktail party circuit. (“Ahem,” as Fred would say.)
Then Mitt Romney rails against East Coast elites.
Now Rudy is making fun of Obama for prefering flashy, cosmopolitan cities to rural, out-of-the-way towns. And for his insensitivity to religious people.
