A Frightening Look at the Politics of Hatred

Like the Alabama Moderate, I too am concerned that things are descending into encouragement of outright hatred. This would be a terrible turn for the campaign to take, but it seems that Republicans are not willing to discourage fervor of any kind…there are no doubt that McCain supporters believe these words are true, but when they can feel free to shout them out in a public forum with the candidate we have crossed into really frightening territory.
