4 Montgomery Public Schools to Close?

The budget hits just keep coming…Pintlala, Paterson and Hayneville Road elementary schools, plus Houston Hill Junior High are on the chopping block. It’s nothing new for Pintlala and Hayneville Road, but it is for the others. There have been talks of closing schools before, but there has been no follow through. Montgomery schools Superintendent John Dilworth is correct that now is the time to examine the possibility again. It’s unfortunate that this action may be necessary, but it may be necessary nonetheless.
