We are all thankful to Rep. Cam Ward for the efforts he makes in participating in the Alabama blogosphere and look forward to his candidacy for State Senate. As I have indicated before, we’re not getting a Democrat in this seat, and almost any Republican would be an improvement over Hank Erwin. However, Cam in particular is the kind of Republican who can work with those across the aisle on issues that are important and I think he would be a welcome addition to the state senate.
