I have great admiration for Alabama Supreme Court Chief Justice Sue Bell Cobb…but I sincerely hope she is not seriously considering a run for governor. Not this time around. I think she will eventually seek that office, as she should, but she still has work to do as Chief Justice and she would have to give up that seat to run for governor.

The primary is already going to be tough enough with Artur Davis and Ron Sparks locking horns, plus a possible candidacy from State Sen. Roger Bedford. I also find it interesting that Danny is indicating AEA Executive Secretary Paul Hubbert may be the one pushing Cobb.

I agree with Danny’s analysis at the Parlor, this is fun to talk about, but just doesn’t seem like a likely move for the Chief Justice.
