1% – Roy Moore
2% – each to Bill Johnson, Kay Ivey and Robert Bentley
4% – Ron Sparks
8% – Tim James
22% – Artur Davis

60% – Bradley Byrne

Does this mean that 66% of the readers of TWAY think that running a campaign solely on an anti-AEA platform is the best campaign strategy? Just asking.

Apparently it means that 60% of the people who voted think that anti-AEA combined with rounding up every Riley supporter they can find to publicly support his campaign is a darn fine strategy.
I do have a lot of friends in the Byrne camp and amongst his supporters. This result doesn’t surprise me, though I don’t agree at all, but obviously I have my own bias toward Artur Davis.

Result doesn’t surprise me either, but I’m afraid a lot of folks will vote their bias, instead of what the poll asks. Rounding up Riley’s folks and their checkbooks may not be a bad idea, but insofar as actual “strategy” goes, Davis has it hands down. He is the only one I actually navigating the political waters right now. Everyone else seems to be treading water.

I agree Joe, and I have talked to several people who were debating between Byrne and Davis and are currently leaning toward Artur because of the campaign he has run…but things can change quickly.
