My favorite candidate from the 2008 election cycle, Josh Segall will run again in 2010 to attempt to unseat Republican Rep. Mike Rogers in Alabama’s 3rd Congressional District. Josh was my favorite candidate because he is close to my age, no one gave him a chance, and he almost pulled a huge upset. The 3rd also happens to be my district, and I would be so proud to have him as my representative in Congress. Expect more coverage as the campaign revs up here on TWAY. Mike Rogers (R-Saks) had some interesting things to say at AUM today about the way Democrats are wielding power in Congress, and how it’s eerily reminiscent of how is colleagues were doing it when they were in charge. It was wrong then, and it’s wrong now. If you truly want to have bipartisanship, you have to be willing to come to the table, even with people who did you wrong in the past.
