I want to take a moment on this city election night to congratulate a few of my friends:

- My friend Jim Byard was re-elected Mayor of Prattville
- My friends Tom Miller and Dean Argo were re-elected to the Prattville City Council
- And, most surprisingly, my friend, Omar Neal received more votes than incumbent Mayor Johnny Ford for Mayor of Tuskegee. I’m unclear as to whether or not there will be a run-off in that race.
